‘Doglapan,’ written by Ashneer Grover, is “an outstanding book about his startup and life.”

BharatPe Co-founder Ashneer Grover has revealed he has written his autobiography, which has been titled ‘Doglapan.’

'Doglapan,' written by Ashneer Grover, is "an outstanding book about his startup and life."

Doglapan (double standards) is the name of the book, a reference to Grover’s frequent use of the word on Shark Tank. Throughout the book, “hard truths” are revealed about start-ups and life.

“You’ll either quit your job or you’ll remain in jobs for the rest of your life after reading this book,” Grover tweeted on November 11.

Readers will gain “absolute clarity” in the book, he said.

Currently, Amazon is accepting preorders for the book, which will be released on December 26.

According to the author, it is quite sought after.

Throughout the book, Grover will tell the story of his journey from being a young boy growing up in Delhi, to becoming one of the country’s most well-known figures.

Described as the favourite and misunderstood poster boy for Start-up India, Ashneer Grover tells his story openly. “The media spotlight, controversy, and social media chatter make it difficult to separate fact from fiction.”

The allegations of financial irregularities led Grover to leave BharatPe earlier this year.

Grover had publicly sparred with BharatPe’s board over allegations that he and his family had committed fraud.

Grover accused BharatPe CEO Suhail Sameer of partnering with investors in order to force him out of the firm.

Ashneer Grover was formerly engaged with the supermarket delivery firm Grofers (now Blinkit).

Grover is reportedly currently working to launch a new start-up. On his birthday in June, he made a hint about the new project.
