Elon Musk met with Tim Cook, Apple CEO
Elon Musk visited Apple’s Cupertino headquarters and met Apple CEO Tim Cook. One day prior to the meeting, Musk nearly declared “war” on the tech titan over the 30% tax on purchases made through Apple App Store applications.

Elon Musk and Tim Cook met on Wednesday, and Musk also posted a video of the Apple headquarters. In another tweet, he asserted that the issue had been resolved. Musk declared that his’misunderstanding’ of Twitter possibly being taken down from the App Store had been cleared up. Musk claims that Apple never even gave it a second thought.
The unexpected change of heart comes after Musk posted a picture indicating that he would prefer to “go to war” with Apple than pay the 30% tax. After a few hours, the billionaire removed many of his tweets critical of the company. A “battle for the future of civilization” was even suggested by Musk.
What other discussions took place between the two men who are in charge of some of the biggest corporations in the world are unknown. Musk had earlier asserted that Apple had stopped all Twitter advertising, but it is still unclear whether that problem has also been resolved.
