The cost of the device is approximately $100,000, or roughly Rs 81 lakh. According to the latest information, Apple does not want to completely implement autonomous driving. Before, it was anticipated that a car would be launched without a steering wheel or pedals.
According to insiders close to the corporation, in a “major adjustment to the project,” the company is now planning a less ambitious design that will include a steering wheel and pedals and only enable full autonomous capabilities on roads, the journal reported.
“Apple is now working on a car that will allow drivers to multitask while on the road, such as watching a movie or playing a game, and will inform them in plenty of time to switch to manual control if they reach city streets or experience bad weather. Apple Sillicon chipset usage in automobiles is anticipated. According to expectations, the chipset will be “about equal to four of Apple’s highest-end Mac CPUs combined.”
