Elon Musk has made up his mind, giving 3 different verified ticks to Twitter users
Elon Musk recently made an announcement on Twitter’s plans to relaunch Twitter Blue and its Verified program the following Friday, which is December 2. Musk says that in the future, there will be Golden, Grey, and Blue tick for a verification badge.

Elon Musk replied to a Twitter user by saying he was sorry that the service hadn’t been back up and running sooner. He also said that the company is “probably” going to launch its verification service on December 2. Elon Musk says that different colored checkmarks will be used to tell the difference between three types of accounts.
According to Musk’s tweet, the golden badge will be reserved for businesses and other organizations, while the gray check would be for government entities. The current blue tick will be set aside for people alone, regardless of whether or not they are celebrities.
Musk went on to tweet that all verified persons would have the same blue check and that, owing to the subjective nature of the term “notable,” it is difficult to define precisely what the term means. Individuals may use supplementary logos or labels to demonstrate their affiliation with a prestigious organization. Musk also promised that Twitter would provide a far more comprehensive explanation of the new verified badges within the next week.
Musk also revealed that, moving forward, all verified accounts would be personally confirmed by Twitter prior to receiving the check and having it show on their site.
Musk is emphatic that consumers should pay a set monthly charge for the perks they receive. In addition to the verified badge, Twitter Blue subscribers have access to an abundance of other features. Given the extensive adjustments and upgrades that Musk intends to make to DMs on the network, there is a strong likelihood that direct messages may also become a part of Twitter Blue or a separate premium service tier in the future.
As a result of the growth of fraudulent accounts, Musk was forced to suspend the $8-per-month Twitter Blue membership service and said that it would be revived at a later date. Musk then informed his workers in an all-hands meeting that Twitter would not restore the service unless they were confident in their ability to prevent impersonations and false accounts receiving blue ticks.
