Donald Trump refuses to tweet after Elon Musk reintroduces him to Twitter
Last weekend, Twitter CEO Elon Musk re-instated Donald Trump on the social media platform. Elon Musk decided to bring back the former US president after conducting a simple Twitter poll.

According to the poll, around 52% of people want Trump back. However, Donald Trump has come forward and stated that he will not begin posting on Twitter.
Donald Trump has stated that he will keep using his own platform, Truth Social.
According to Reuters, Trump made the announcement during a leadership meeting. He even compared the performance of his own platform to that of Twitter. He claimed that Truth Social’s engagement is far superior to Twitter’s. “I don’t see any reason for it,” he said during the meeting.
His Twitter account has over 87 million followers, and his most recent tweet was on January 8, 2021. Following allegations of spreading misinformation, Donald Trump was removed from the platform.
Elon Musk purchased Twitter for $44 billion last month. Following the completion of the takeover, the billionaire fired more than half of the company’s workforce. Later, he issued an ultimatum to the remaining employees, instructing them to either stay and work longer hours with greater intensity or to quit and receive severance pay.
Despite having a smaller team, Elon Musk is reportedly planning to fire more employees, according to a Bloomberg report. Employees will be removing them from the sales and partnership division this time. So far, no official confirmation has been provided.
